Privacy Policy
The short version: you paste your resume so we can show you what's filtering it. We use your data to do exactly that, we store it securely in Australia, we share it with nobody except the services that make the tool run, and you can ask us to delete everything with one email.
What we collect
- What you give us: your resume text and the job ad you paste, your work-rights situation (student, 485, PR/citizen, other), any optional details (target city, dream role, a line about yourself), your email when you unlock your fixed resume, and any edits or corrections you make to our suggestions.
- What we collect automatically: basic usage events (e.g. that a diagnosis was viewed or a resume downloaded) tied to an anonymous session, timestamps, and which link brought you here. We also use Google Analytics to understand overall site traffic and how visitors find us; it sets its own cookies and processes this data under Google's terms. We don't run advertising trackers.
Why we collect it
To generate your diagnosis, fixed resume and cover letter; to let you come back to your dashboard; to email you your results and one follow-up; and to improve the tool - when you correct or dismiss one of our findings, that correction helps make the diagnosis better for the next person. We never use your resume to assess visa or migration eligibility - we don't give that advice, full stop.
AI processing
Your resume and job-ad text are processed by Anthropic's Claude (the AI model that powers the diagnosis and rewrite). Under Anthropic's commercial terms, your data is not used to train their models; they may hold API data briefly for safety monitoring before deleting it. This processing happens on Anthropic's servers in the United States, which is the one place your data leaves Australia.
Where your data lives
Our database (Supabase) is hosted in Sydney, Australia. It stores your session, your generated documents and edits, your corrections, and the usage events above. Login emails are sent via Supabase; result emails via Resend; the app runs on Vercel.
Who we share it with
Only the processors named above (Anthropic, Supabase, Resend, Vercel - and Calendly, only if you book a call), and only so the tool can work. We never sell your data. We never share your resume with employers, recruiters, or migration agents.
How long we keep it
While your dashboard is active, so you can return to your documents. Email ketanai.dev@gmail.com from your sign-up address and we'll delete everything we hold about you within 30 days.
Emails we send
Exactly three kinds: your login link, your results email, and one follow-up about 48 hours later. No newsletter, no marketing list. Every email tells you who it's from and how to stop them.
Your rights
Ask us anytime to access, correct, or delete your data: ketanai.dev@gmail.com. We aim to respond within 30 days. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
Security
Traffic is encrypted (HTTPS); the database is access-controlled; we use passwordless login so there's no password to leak. No system is perfectly secure - if a breach ever puts you at likely serious harm, we'll tell you and the OAIC.
Changes & age
This service is for people 16 and over. If this policy changes materially, we'll note it here with a new date (and email you if it affects data we already hold).
